Pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• butter - 1/4 c
• dark corn syrup - 1 c
• eggs, well beaten - 3 item
• pecan meats - 1/2 c
• few grains salt - 1 item
• unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make pecan pie:

Combine syrup, sugar and butter in pan and heat to boiling. Beat the eggs and salt until light. Gradually pour hot syrup over eggs; beat constantly. Add vanilla and blend. Pour in pie shell and sprinkle pecan meats over top and bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
