Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- box brown sugar - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- minus 2 Tbsp
How to make gingerbread cake:
Mix brown sugar, oleo and flour thoroughly. Save 1 cup for topping. To remaining mixture, add all other ingredients. Mix until damp. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan and sprinkle dry mixture on top. Bake at 350° to 375° for 45 minutes. Cool slightly and serve. Serves 12.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
