Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- nutmeg - 2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 2 c
- 1/2 sticks oleo - 1 item
- box dark brown sugar - 1 item
How to make gingerbread:
Mix all ingredients, except buttermilk and eggs, until crumbly; save 1/2 cup. Add buttermilk and eggs to remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup mixture on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Good with lemon sauce.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
