Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- sweetened whipped cream - 1 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- molasses - 1 c
- ginger
- hot water - 3/4 c
- butter or oleo - 1 c
How to make gingerbread:
Sift flour with spices and salt. Beat butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy. At low speed, beat in molasses and hot water. Add flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Pour into well-greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
