Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- boiling water - 1 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- sour milk - 1 c
- soda in milk - 2 tsp
How to make never fail chocolate cake:
Mix butter, hot water and cocoa well. Add vanilla, white sugar, sour milk with soda, salt and flour; mix well. Add unbeaten eggs last and beat well. Batter will be thin. Bake at 375° about 45 minutes. Frost with Caramel Icing.Caramel Icing: Mix 1/4 cup butter, brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil for a few seconds to melt sugar. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Add 1 cup confectioners sugar. Beat with mixer or wire whisk until smooth.
