- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder
- boiling water - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- nuts optional - 1 c
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- syrup - 1 c
How to make gingerbread:
