Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- boiling water - 1 c
- ginger
- sifted flour - 2 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- ribbon cane syrup - 1 c
- soda, dissolved in 1/4 c - 1 tsp
How to make gingerbread:
In a large mixing bowl, mix sugar, oil and syrup. Add beaten eggs; mix well. Add soda mixture, flour and spices, stirring constantly. Add boiling water, beating until smooth. Pour into greased baking pan. Bake until toothpick inserted comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
