Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- oil - 2/3 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- finely chopped apples - 4 c
- oleo - 3 Tbsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- raisins I use Golden raisins - 1 c
- Let stand for 20 minutes
- plus confectioners sugar - 1 c
- almond or maple flavoring - 1/8 tsp
How to make raw apple cake:
Mix together apples, sugar, oil and vanilla. Let stand for 20 minutes. Add beaten eggs. Blend. Sift together dry ingredients. Blend dry into apple mixture. Add nuts and raisins. Mix. Pour into Bundt pan, greased. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.Icing:1/2 c. brown sugar3 Tbsp. oleo4 Tbsp. milk1 c. plus confectioners sugar1/8 tsp. almond or maple flavoring Boil the first 3 ingredients for 2 minutes.
