Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- water - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1/2 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/3 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
How to make ginger cream cookies:
Mix margarine and sugar, add egg, molasses and water. Slowly mix in remaining dry ingredients. Chill dough. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Top with cream cheese icing to which 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg has been added.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
