Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- soda
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 3/4 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add molasses and egg. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Roll into balls the size of a walnut. Roll in granulated sugar. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
