  • chopped nuts - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • water - 3 Tbsp
  • firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • light corn syrup - 2 Tbsp
  • unbaked pie shell - 1 item
  • Jiffy yellow cake mix - 1 item

How to make funny cake:

Mix cake mix. Combine ingredients (except the water). Stir over low heat until mixture comes to a boil. Add water and again boil. Boil 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat; let cool. Pour cake batter into pie shell. Pour the lukewarm batter in gently.
