Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• boiling water - 1/2 c
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• cocoa or chocolate - 1/2 c

How to make funny cake:

Upper Part:2 c. sugar1/2 c. shortening1 egg1 c. milk2 c. flour2 tsp. baking powder1/4 tsp. salt Line a pie dish with pastry shell and chill. For the lower part of filling, add boiling water to mixed sugar and cocoa. Pour into pastry shell. Mix ingredients for upper part as you would cake batter and pour on top of chocolate mixture. Bake in oven at 350° about 35 minutes until cake part is done.
