Chocolate sheet cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- butter
- water - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- unsifted flour - 2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- unsweetened cocoa - 1/2 c
- can condensed milk - 1 oz
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. In small saucepan, melt 1 cup margarine; stir in 1/4 cup cocoa, then water. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. In large mixer bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add cocoa mixture; beat well. Stir in 1/3 cup condensed milk, eggs and vanilla. Pour into greased 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan. Bake 15 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.In small saucepan, melt remaining 1/4 cup margarine; stir in remaining 1/4 cup cocoa and condensed milk. Stir in powdered sugar and nuts. Spread on warm cake.
