  • sugar
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • boiling water - 3/4 c
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • cream of tartar
  • chocolate, melted

How to make fudge cake:

Sift flour, sugar, salt and cream of tartar in bowl. Add milk, vanilla and shortening. Mix. Add melted chocolate, then mix. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes, then add baking soda and water; beat for 1 minute. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
