Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 2
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- baking powder
- shortening - 1/2 c
- can pie filling apricot, cherry or blueberry - 1 oz
- Beat well for about 3 minutes
How to make fruit swirl coffee cake:
Beat sugar, butter, shortening, flavoring and eggs. Beat well for about 3 minutes. Stir in flour and baking powder. Spread half of batter in a large cake pan. Spread pie filling on batter. Drop remaining batter by spoon over filling. Bake for 45 minutes.
