- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 2
- flour - 3 c
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- baking powder
- shortening - 1/2 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- can pie filling - 1 item
- Beat on high 3 minutes, stir in flour
How to make fruit swirl coffee cake:
Beat first 7 ingredients in large bowl on low speed until blended. Beat on high 3 minutes, stir in flour. Spread 2/3 of batter in greased jelly roll pan. Spread pie filling over the batter. Drop remaining dough by tablespoon on top. Bake at 350° until light brown 45 minutes. Drizzle glaze while warm.Glaze:1 c. powdered sugar1 to 2 Tbsp. milk Mix until smooth and desired consistency.
