  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 2
  • flour - 3 c
  • almond extract - 1 tsp
  • baking powder
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • oleo - 1/2 c
  • can pie filling - 1 item
  • Beat on high 3 minutes, stir in flour

How to make fruit swirl coffee cake:

Beat first 7 ingredients in large bowl on low speed until blended. Beat on high 3 minutes, stir in flour. Spread 2/3 of batter in greased jelly roll pan. Spread pie filling over the batter. Drop remaining dough by tablespoon on top. Bake at 350° until light brown 45 minutes. Drizzle glaze while warm.Glaze:1 c. powdered sugar1 to 2 Tbsp. milk Mix until smooth and desired consistency. Drizzle.
