  • eggs - 4 item
  • butter - 1/2 lb
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • cake flour - 2 c
  • lemon flavor - 2 Tbsp
  • vanilla flavor - 2 Tbsp
  • candied cherries 2 c - 1 lb
  • nuts, cut up - 4 c
  • candied pineapple 2 c - 1 lb

How to make fruit cake:

Dredge the nuts and fruit with all the flour and baking powder. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add dredged fruit, nuts and flavoring. Bake at 275° for 2 1/2 hours.
