- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- butter - 1/2 lb
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- cake flour - 2 c
- lemon flavor - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla flavor - 2 Tbsp
- candied cherries 2 c - 1 lb
- nuts, cut up - 4 c
- candied pineapple 2 c - 1 lb
How to make fruit cake:
Dredge the nuts and fruit with all the flour and baking powder. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add dredged fruit, nuts and flavoring. Bake at 275° for 2 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
