Fried zucchini
Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- water - 3/4 c
- vegetable oil - 1/2 tsp
- cooking oil - 1 item
- chicken-flavored bouillon granules - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chopped green onions - 1/4 c
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
- seasoning salt - 1/8 tsp
- large zucchini - 1 item
- homogenized milk - 1/4 c
- couscous, uncooked - 1/2 c
- peeled, chopped tomatoes, seeds removed - 1/3 c
How to make fried zucchini:
Slice zucchini as desired. Salt and pepper to taste. Dip zucchini in an Egg Batter, then roll in flour and fry in hot oil.Egg Batter:2 eggs3/4 c. evaporated milk1/4 c. homogenized milk1/8 tsp. seasoning salt1/2 tsp. vegetable oil1/4 c. chopped green onions3/4 c. water1 tsp. chicken-flavored bouillon granules1/2 c. couscous, uncooked2 tsp. soy sauce1/3 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes, seeds removed1/2 tsp. black pepper1 Tbsp. chopped parsley1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper Place oil in a saucepan and heat over medium fire until hot. Add onions and saute until tender. Add water and bouillon; bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in couscous and soy sauce. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, pepper and parsley.Optional: Stir in chunks of cooked, chopped chicken or shrimp, etc.
