Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- green peppers - 3 item
- can beef broth - 1 item
- large onions - 2 item
- round steak
How to make pepper steak:
Trim fat and slice beef in thin, bite-sized pieces. Coat with ginger, salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Saute in oil until brown. Remove beef. Saute chopped green peppers and chopped onions. Add broth, water, soy sauce, beef and water chestnuts.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
