Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large head cabbage or 2 medium - 1 item
- medium onions or 2 large according to your liking - 2 item
- bacon lean - 1 lb
How to make fried cabbage:
Cut cabbage in quarters. Remove core; shred. In heavy skillet or Dutch oven, slice pre-frozen bacon into cubes. Place in cold skillet and fry uncovered until transparent. Put some of the sliced onion on top of bacon, then add some of the shredded cabbage; toss after approximately 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Low Carb.
