Ingredients/Components

  • carrots baby carrots or cut into pieces
  • margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • cornstarch
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1 item
  • orange juice - 3/4 c

How to make glazed carrots:

Melt margarine. Stir in sugar, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Cook 1 minute. Add orange juice gradually. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth (about 3 minutes). Pour over carrots.

Can add 2 tablespoons of marmalade with orange juice; can be made a day before use.
