Ingredients/Components
- carrots baby carrots or cut into pieces
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1 item
- orange juice - 3/4 c
How to make glazed carrots:
Melt margarine. Stir in sugar, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Cook 1 minute. Add orange juice gradually. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth (about 3 minutes). Pour over carrots.Can add 2 tablespoons of marmalade with orange juice; can be made a day before use.
