Fresh peach pie
Ingredients/Components
- 9-inch baked pie shell, cooled - 1 item
- sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- dry peach gelatin - 4 Tbsp
- softened cream cheese - 1 (8
- to 5 sliced fresh berries - 4 item
- small Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make fresh peach pie:
Mix first 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Boil until thick and clear, then add the 4 tablespoons of peach gelatin. Let cool. Meanwhile, mix together the 1/2 cup sugar and cream cheese. Cream together until smooth and spread in bottom of cooled pie crust. Combine the cooled gelatin mixture and the sliced peaches. Place on top of the cream cheese mixture in pie crust. Cover with Cool Whip and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.This recipe is also very good using fresh strawberries and substituting strawberry flavored gelatin for the peaches.
