Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- plain flour, sifted
- fresh peaches, chopped - 1 c
How to make fresh peach muffins:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and mix. Stir in baking powder, flour, salt and nutmeg alternating with milk. Stir in fresh peaches. Fill greased muffin pan, filling each cup 2/3 full. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Preparation time: 15 minutes. Yield: 12 muffins.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
