Fresh mushroom soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- oil - 3 Tbsp
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 3 item
- cans water - 3 item
- bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- mushrooms, chopped
How to make fresh mushroom soup:
Saute onions in butter; add mushrooms to onions. Cook on low, covered, for 5 minutes. In large pot, make roux with flour and oil. Add broth, water and cubes. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook until thickened. Add pepper, but no salt.Suggestion: Serve with garlic bread or crispy cheese crackers.
