Crunchy crust french toast
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- flaked coconut - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- crushed corn flakes - 1/3 c
- slices white bread - 4 item
- few grains ground cinnamon - 1 item
How to make crunchy crust french toast:
Blend egg, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Mix coconut and corn flakes. Dip bread slices in egg mixture; then coat with coconut and corn flakes.Heat margarine in a a skillet over medium heat. Brown prepared bread slices in skillet until light golden on both sides. If desired, serve with additional margarine and maple syrup. Makes 2 servings.
