Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- medium potatoes, peeled and cubed - 5 item
- medium onions, chopped - 3 item
- vegetable juice cocktail
- Minute tapioca - 3 Tbsp
- beef stew meat, cut into bite size pieces - 1 lb
- carrots, sliced in 1/2-inch slices - 3 item
- celery, sliced in 1/2-inch slices - 1 c
How to make french stew:
In 2 to 3-quart casserole, combine stew meat, potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, peas, vegetable juice, tapioca, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir to combine ingredients. Cover casserole with tight fitting lid. Bake at 250° for 3 to 4 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
