  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • medium potatoes, peeled and cubed - 5 item
  • medium onions, chopped - 3 item
  • vegetable juice cocktail
  • Minute tapioca - 3 Tbsp
  • beef stew meat, cut into bite size pieces - 1 lb
  • carrots, sliced in 1/2-inch slices - 3 item
  • celery, sliced in 1/2-inch slices - 1 c

How to make french stew:

In 2 to 3-quart casserole, combine stew meat, potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, peas, vegetable juice, tapioca, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir to combine ingredients. Cover casserole with tight fitting lid. Bake at 250° for 3 to 4 hours.
