French onion soup
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- medium onions - 4 item
- beef broth - 1 qt
How to make french onion soup:
Slice onions (or chop); brown in butter. Add broth and Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer until onions are tender. Arrange toast pieces on top of soup (optional). Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, French.
