  • sugar
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 1/2 1
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • shredded coconut - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • large unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make french coconut pie:

Melt butter and add coconut. Brown over medium heat. Mix sugar and flour. Add eggs to butter and coconut mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
