buttermilk - 1 c
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
stick butter - 1 item
sticks butter - 2 item
box powdered sugar - 3/4 item
pecans if desired
Milky Way bars - 8 item
In bowl, beat 1 stick butter, sugar and eggs one at a time

How to make milky way cake:

In double boiler, melt Milky Way bars and 1 stick butter until smooth. In bowl, beat 1 stick butter, sugar and eggs (one at a time). Sift flour and soda and alternately add with milk and vanilla. Add candy and pecans. Bake for 1 hour in 300° oven in a 13 x 9-inch pan (greased and floured).Icing:3 Milky Way bars1 stick butter2 Tbsp. milk3/4 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Melt Milky Way bars and butter in boiler until smooth. Add milk and vanilla; mix until consistent. In bowl, add sugar to candy mixture. Beat until spreadable.
