Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- pkg
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- stick butter - 1 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- mashed bananas - 2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
How to make hummingbird cake:
Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter1 box powdered sugar Sift dry ingredients together. Stir in eggs and vegetable oil. Add all other ingredients. Stir until mixed. Do not beat. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool in pan.Frosting: Have butter and cream cheese at room temperature. Mix all ingredients. Beat until smooth. Spread on cake.
