  • flour
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • baking powder
  • melted butter - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • soft shortening - 1/3 c
  • cinnamon sugar - 1 item

How to make french breakfast puffs:

Mix shortening, sugar and egg thoroughly. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg together; stir into shortening mixture alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Roll immediate
