French bread pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
- seedless raisins - 1/2 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- can homogenized milk - 24 oz
- French bread several days old is desirable - 8 oz
- apples medium size, peeled and sliced in 1/2-inch chunks - 3 item
How to make french bread pudding:
Soak French bread in homogenized milk until soft. Add slightly beaten eggs, sugar, vanilla, pie spice, apples, raisins and butter and mix well. Mix in balance of milk and bake at 375° for 60 minutes or until brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, French.
