Frozen strawberry margarita pie
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs
- sugar - 1/4 c
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- oleo, melted - 1/4 c
- heavy cream, whipped - 2 c
- Triple Sec - 3 Tbsp
- tequila - 3 Tbsp
- freshly squeezed lime juice - 1/4 c
- frozen strawberries with syrup, thawed - 1/2 c
How to make frozen strawberry margarita pie:
Combine crumbs, sugar and oleo in a small bowl. Press into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Beat condensed milk, lime juice, tequila and Triple Sec in a large bowl with mixer on medium speed for 3 minutes or until smooth. Lower speed; beat in strawberries and syrup for 1 minute. Fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture until no streaks of white remain.Pour into prepared graham cracker crust, mounding in center. Freeze overnight. Transfer to refrigerator 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional whipped cream, strawberries and lime slices if you wish. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
