Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- water to cover potatoes - 1 item
- medium-sized potatoes, sliced - 10 item
- fillet of haddock or pollock, cut in pieces - 1 item
How to make fish chowder:
Cook potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, 1/2 cup margarine and haddock or pollock in water until potatoes and fish are nearly done. Then add milk and 1/4 cup margarine. Simmer until done.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Cod.
