  • eggs - 3 item
  • flour
  • cornmeal
  • poultry seasoning - 1 item
  • seasoned salt - 1 item
  • pepper - 1 item
  • paprika - 1 item
  • parsley flakes - 1 item
  • garlic powder - 1 item
  • water - 1 item

How to make fish batter:

Break the eggs in a small mixing bowl and add all the ingredients, except for water. I use about 1/4 teaspoon of each spice, except for the garlic powder; use less garlic, or just season to your taste. Batter will be thick. Stir in water until batter is of dipping consistency.

Dip fish fillets into batter and drop into 1 1/2 inches of hot oil. Fish should float to the top if grease is hot enough. Fry until golden brown.
