Filipino pancit
Ingredients/Components
- shredded carrot - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- shredded cabbage - 1/2 c
- segments garlic, crushed - 2 item
- cooked ham, cut in strips - 1/2 c
- cooked chicken meat, cut in strips - 1/4 c
- cooked pork, cut in strips - 1/2 c
- zucchini, cut in strips or green beans - 1/2 c
- rice sticks, soaked until soft, 20 minutes - 1 lb
How to make filipino pancit:
Saute in oil the garlic and onion. Add pork, chicken and ham and saute 1 minute. Add carrot, zucchini and cabbage. Saute 5 minutes. Add softened rice sticks, soy sauce, chicken broth and salt and pepper. Mix well and cook another 10 to 15 minutes. Arrange in serving dish.
