  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • chicken broth - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • fresh asparagus, sliced diagonally - 1 lb

How to make asparagus stir-fry:

Mix the broth, soy sauce and cornstarch together. Set aside. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet and saute onions until golden brown. Add asparagus and stir. Fry for 3 minutes; add the broth mixture. Cook and stir until the sauce is clear. Makes 4 servings.
