Asparagus stir-fry
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- fresh asparagus, sliced diagonally - 1 lb
How to make asparagus stir-fry:
Mix the broth, soy sauce and cornstarch together. Set aside. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet and saute onions until golden brown. Add asparagus and stir. Fry for 3 minutes; add the broth mixture. Cook and stir until the sauce is clear. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Asparagus, Main dish.
