- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- cornstarch - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg whites - 4 item
- unsweetened cocoa - 1/2 c
- Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- confectioners sugar optional - 1 item
How to make fat-free chocolate cake:
Spray a 9-inch square pan with Mazola spray. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In a medium bowl, mix egg whites, water and corn syrup. Add to dry ingredients; stir until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan or on wire rack. If desired, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
