Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- oil - 3 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- chili powder - 5 Tbsp
How to make enchilada sauce:
Heat oil and brown flour. To the 2 c. water add the chili powder and disolve. Add the mixture to the browned flour and mix well. Add seasonings and blend. Bring it to a bubb boil, stirring frequently. Simmer covered for 5 min. Evaporated milk can be added to soften flavor.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
