  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • dash of nutmeg - 1 item
  • stick margarine or butter - 1/4 item
  • 9 to 10-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make egg custard pie:

Mix well the sugar, butter, vanilla and milk; bring to a boil. Beat eggs in mixer real well. When milk mixture comes to a boil, pour slowly over eggs, beating while pouring into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350° approximately 45 minutes or until crust sets.
