Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 1 doz
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley optional - 3 tsp
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- Velveeta - 1 c
- nutmeg optional - 1 tsp
- bulk sausage, cooked or 1 ham steak, cubed - 12 slices
How to make egg casserole:
Beat and scramble eggs, parsley and nutmeg. Cook just until almost done. Layer in greased 9 x 13-inch pan, eggs, sour cream, meat and cheese. Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.For a real taste treat, use a combination of all 3 meats.
