Easy oven stew
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- frozen peas - 1/4 c
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- can water - 1/2 item
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- carrots, sliced - 4 item
- beef stew meat
- potatoes, peeled and cubed - 3 item
How to make easy oven stew:
Place beef in a 3-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt, basil and pepper. Top with celery, carrots, potatoes, onions and peas. Combine soup and water. Pour over meat and vegetables, coating all pieces. Cover tightly and bake at 300° for 3 hours. Makes its own gravy.
