Dilly meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- hamburger - 2 lb
- large onion, minced - 1 item
- slices bread, torn into crumbs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- dried dill weed - 1 item
- salad oil - 3 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- can beef broth - 1 item
- sour cream - 8 oz
How to make dilly meatballs:
Mix hamburger, onion, crumbs, salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon dill and 2 tablespoons water. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. In 12-inch skillet in hot oil, brown meatballs, 1/2 at a time. Remove. Into skillet drippings, stir flour and 1 teaspoon dill. Gradually add broth. Heat to boiling. Return meatballs; bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Skim off fat; stir in sour cream. Heat through. Do not boil. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Ground beef, Beef.
