Dilly barbecued turkey
Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- chopped green onions - 1/4 c
- plain yogurt - 1 c
- garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
- fresh minced dill or 2 tsp - 2 Tbsp
- minced parsley fresh - 1/4 c
How to make dilly barbecued turkey:
Place turkey in a glass baking dish. In a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; spread over the turkey. Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Remove turkey; reserve marinade.Grill turkey, covered, over medium-hot coals, basting often with marinade for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until juices run clear or internal temperature reaches 170°. Serves 6.
