Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- milk, scalded
How to make custard pie:
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, except nutmeg. Pour into a 9-inch pie crust (unbaked). Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Bake 15 minutes at 425°, then turn oven to 350° and bake 45 minutes more.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
