Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1 qt
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- crushed pineapple optional - 1 item
How to make custard:
Scald milk. Beat egg yolks. Add sugar and salt. Stir constantly when adding to the hot milk. Return to double boiler. Stir until thick. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into custard. Serve cold.You can add a can of crushed pineapple.
