- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
How to make custard cake:
Mix sugar and shortening, then beat in eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients and milk. Beat at medium speed of mixer for 5 minutes. Bake 30 or 35 minutes in a 350° oven.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
