Ingredients/Components

  • maraschino cherries - 1 item
  • curry powder - 1 tsp
  • stick butter or margarine - 3/4 item
  • firmly packed light brown sugar - 1 c
  • 2 can; about 20 oz - 1 (No
  • spiced apple rings - 1 jar

How to make curried fruit:

Combine butter or margarine, sugar and curry powder and bring to a boil. Drain the fruit and arrange it in a 2-quart baking dish. Pour hot sauce over fruit. Garnish with cherries. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve hot. Very good with poultry, curried ham and pork. Serves 8 to 10.
