Ingredients/Components

  • curry powder - 1/2 tsp
  • jar maraschino cherries - 1 item
  • dash of cinnamon - 1 item
  • stick butter or margarine - 3/4 item
  • can pineapple slices - 1 oz
  • firmly packed light brown sugar - 1 c
  • can peach slices - 1 oz
  • can pear halves - 1 oz
  • jar spiced apple rings - 1 oz

How to make curried fruit:

Combine butter or margarine, sugar and curry powder. Bring to a boil. Drain the fruit.

Arrange fruit in a 2-quart baking dish. Pour hot sauce over the fruit. Garnish with cherries.

Bake at 325° until it bubbles (about 30 to 40 minutes). Serve warm. Good with ham, poultry or pork. Serves 8 to 10.
