Hot fruit casserole
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar
- sherry - 1 c
- can pineapple chunks, drained - 14 oz
- can apricot halves, drained - 1 item
- jar spiced apple rings, drained - 15 oz
- can peach halves, drained and cut in pieces - 16 oz
- can pear halves, drained and cut in half - 16 oz
How to make hot fruit casserole:
Sauce:1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar1 Tbsp. flour1 c. sherry1/2 c. butter Layer fruit in a casserole dish, saving 1/2 the apple rings to put on top. Cook sauce ingredients until thick. Pour over fruit. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serves six.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pineapple, Main dish.
